Columbus, OH (Sports Network) - The Columbus Blue Jackets activated forward Fredrik Modin from injured reserve on Monday. The 34-year-old has just three assists in five games this season. He was placed on IR on October 21 with a hip injury. Modin, the oft-injured Swedish winger, will be in the lineup as the Jackets face the New York Islanders. Dorsett, 21, has appeared in 10 games with Columbus this season, posting one goal, one assist. In 64 games with the Crunch last season he scored 10 goals and eight assists while amassing 289 penalty minutes.
